- Us an air-tight container and try to purge as much air as possible out of the container before putting your photos in storage.
- Consider putting silica or some other moisture reducing agent in the storage box with the photographs.
- Ensure that the there is no air pockets or bubbles in the photography paper.
- Don’t stack the boxes in such a way that stress is put on the photographs or the binder that contains the photographs.
- Clearly mark the boxes with the pictures contained inside so the boxes can be opened as little as possible.
